Schoterveenpolder in Haarlem by night

The "windmolen" hunting. In Haarlem we have 5 windmills (molen in Dutch). So I decide to take all of them in one night using the milky way day as well. I can say to shot these old iconic mills and the milky way together is not an easy experience. Schoterveenpolder has been build in ca. 1650. This is a stacking and digital composition.

I can say to shot these old iconic mills and the milky way together is not an easy experience. I drove all the night and I was home eat 3AM. The day after I was broke. This is the first one I publish. De Veer has been build in 1701. Note the airplane trail, Haarlem is close by the AMS airport. The plane trail makes this picture even more unique.

Groenendaalse Molen te Heemstede by night

The "windmolen" hunting. In Haarlem we have 5 windmills (molen in Dutch). So I decide to take all of them in one night using the milky way day as well. Groenendaalse Molen has been build in 1780. Note this is a stack of many photos (a pano, exposure, wider sky, milky way, reflections). There is even a car trail that makes the picture quite unique.

Milky Hogeveensemolen

This image is from 22nd of April 2020, during COVID-19 lockdown. During the new moon I went around in the night responsible to capture the Dutch spirit under the Milky way. There was a bit of breeze and to keep the tulip more in focus I pushed up the ISO.

Milky Cyclops

This location is in Sicily, nearby Acitrezza. I went there during a wedding trip so I did not have my usual camera. I used the one from my wife, the Sony A6000. This is a blend of export in different time of the night.

Milky Hommel

Clear sky, new moon in NL perfect to try to combine a Dutch windmill with the milky way. I shot this with a Samyang 14mm F2.8 manual. IT was the first time I used tis lens and I am impressed by the result.
